Thames Valley Adventure Playground: activities for children and adults with disabilities
The Thames Valley Adventure Playground is a registered charity providing a unique range of adventurous, therapeutic and educational play activities, offering fun and freedom for children and adults with all types of disability, however mild or profound, in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
We can accommodate parties for children with special needs at certain times.
The Playground has a limited number of respite care places, available on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, subject to satisfactory completion of supervised induction period. For more information please contact the Playground Manager.

Costs and Fee Information
- Cost details
Suggested contribution is £11 per user for a single session, and £16 for an all day session, to go towards the actual cost of the visit. We do not ask for a contribution for siblings under 2 years old and carers come in for free.
- No help with funding is available

We hope for only a small contribution from our users towards the actual cost of each visit. The remainder is subsidised by our fundraising activities and support from within the local community. Please contact the Playground Manager if you wish to discuss the suggested contribution.

We are specifically designed for, and open to, people with additional needs and their families.

2.5 acre site, with plenty to do including:

- aerial runway (zip wire) specially-adapted seat

- 100 metre enclosed walkway through the trees

We are always pleased to hear from our users and you can contact us by any of the methods above.
Obviously, positive comments are very welcome, but it is just as important to us to hear if people have any concerns as we are constantly striving to make the Playground the best it can be.
We hope any concerns can be allayed by talking to the Playworkers or to Gary Warrington, the Playground's Manager, however, if you are not happy with the response you receive, we do have a formal Complaints Procedure.
