Rose Buddies, Creative Support.
Rose Buddies Community Support Service is for adults with learning disabilities, who live in Wokingham Borough and receive little or no statutory community care/support services.
We have daily drop-ins, across Wokingham Borough at different venues. During the drop-ins we provide
- Information about what’s going on in the local area
- Support with filling in forms (e.g. benefits, booking holidays, courses, etc)
- Reading letters (e.g. doctor’s letter, bills, etc.)
- Social activities, workshops
- Sign posting and referrals
We also have some activities for members to do during the drop-ins.

When is it On/Open ?

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:30am - 5:30pm.
Wednesdays 10am - 8pm.
Due to our Community Drop-ins, the above times are not all office based.

Membership is free, but there are some costs to members for our trips out and some of our Workshops.

Through the year, members participate in fundraising and grant applications.
This helps to keep our Bloom Buddies, Craft and Cooking sessions and some of our Social activities run at minimal cost.

To access Rose Buddies you must be a member, a resident of Wokingham Borough, have a learning disability, not live in 24 hour supported care and must not be recieving support/care services for the support required.

Learning and Communication
All our staff are trained in Safeguarding, First Aid, Food Safety, Fire Safety, Medication and Moving and Handling as mandatory.
Our Volunteers also complete the necessary training for their roles.
Local Offer - Support available for children and young people with additional needs
Rose Buddies supports adults with learning disabilities, low needs, from 17+ who live in the Wokingham Borough.
