ASD Family Help - Multi Sports Sessions
BOOKING ESSENTIAL! THERE IS A WAITING LIST FOR THIS ACTIVITY
For children (aged 5 to 18) with ASD or any other associated learning difficulty and their siblings (if space allows).
Children must be able to access this activity on an adult to child ratio of 1:8. We cannot provide 1 to 1 support.
The sessions are run by our staff with help from our volunteers - all of whom have experience working with children with additional needs. The sessions are aimed specifically for children with additional needs or anxiety.
Children need to wear loose comfortable sports clothing. (No jewellery or zips) We are unable to provide any water at class and this is hot, thirsty work - so please ensure children have a named water bottle with them.
If you are interested in a space, please complete the registration form and we will be in contact to discuss your child's needs and to make sure we can meet them. After we have spoken to you, we will confirm if we are able to offer your child a space.
Ample parking on site.
We are unable to allow parents into the venue (due to our funding requirements and policies that all adults present will be fully DBS checked by our charity). but parents can wait outside where there is an open door you can view the class from if required.
£4 per session paid termly via Bacs.

All staff and volunteers at sessions receive in-house training from ASD Family Help regarding autism awareness and safeguarding. Additionally all staff/volunteers are trained in Safeguarding via the NSPCC online training portal or Wokingham Borough Council training portal and Prevent Training via the Home Office online.
All staff and volunteers at sessions have enhanced DBS checks.
ASD Family Help holds its own public liability insurance.
At activities where staff are solely responsible for children, at least one member of staff will hold a paediatric first aid certificate.
