Wokingham Cricket Club dates back to 1767, when the first recorded match was played against Henley. Although Wokingham Cricket Club played its first game in 1767 the club was not formally founded until 1825 in Wellington Road.

Wokingham spent 187 years at Wellington Road by Wokingham train station. In 2012 Wokingham CC moved and reside at state of the art facilities at Sadlers End, Sindlesham.

Our Clubhouse consists of two ovals, 6 nets, 5 changing rooms, sun terrace, veranda and a fabulous clubhouse anyone would be proud of.

With 6 Saturday League teams, 1 Sunday Social Team, 2 Midweek T20 League teams, a fast growing Junior Section for boys and girls and Social Membership there is literally anything for anyone at Wokingham Cricket Club.

The Idyllic surroundings, stunning views and great facilities at Wokingham Cricket Club, make for the perfect wedding and party event venue.

Whether you are going for grand and elaborate or cosy and intimate, something in between or off the wall, this venue provides a unique and attractive year round location for the perfect event.

We can accommodate up to 150 guests party style, or 120 seated at round tables, with ample free parking and in-house caterers we can provide a very private and family friendly setting for any celebration or get together.

Date & Time Information

During the cricket season (after Easter - September) we welcome the whole community to come along and enjoy or clubhouse and bar, or to grab a hot drink from our hatch.

The clubhouse is open for hire all year round except for two weeks around Christmas & the new year.
