Acorn Community Centre

Following guidance from the Government with regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19), before attending an activity, group, drop in, course or event listed on our directory please contact the organisation who is running the service to ensure it is still taking place.

The Acorn Community Centre provides services and activities for people in the community. The Acorn Cafe provides a wonderful, relaxing place to have a drink and enjoy views over the Emmbrook Walk.

The following facilities are available for hire:

  • A multi-purpose main hall with a terrace
  • 3 varying sized meeting rooms

The Acorn Community Centre is shared with Optalis who provide a learning disability Day Service, which offers:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Interview Skills
  • Practical Life Skills
  • Sensory Experiences
  • Self Awareness
  • Many More!
