After referral we will visit the prospective Service User and complete our own assessment. The support plan will focus on outcomes.
We match our staff against the needs and personality of the vulnerable person. If the person or staff member are not comfortable with the match then we will introduce others until we can proceed. We have found that this "matching" process is beneficial for all involved and helps with meeting the needs and identified outcomes of the Serivce User.
We always like to have at least 2 staff that work with every person we support. This ensures consistancy during times of staff illness or annual leave.

- Description
Some of the young people we support receive services that are commissioned by the SEN Team. They may be excluded from school, in part time education or in a school that can meet their needs in a way that is in their best interests.
Radis Supported Living does not supply educational services, but we have been known to support children to complete their homework when english is not their parents preferred language. We can also provide transport / Support Staff to acompany children to and from school or college and if required provide support during school.
We have a homesitting service where we stay with children in order for their parents to have a well deserved rest either for a couple of hours or if they need a longer break.
We also support children and young people to access their local communities in order to attend college, leisure activities and sporting events and social clubs.
What does it mean to be on the Preferred Provider list?
Providers voluntarily register with the council to be included on the preferred providers list.
Providers will undergo annual checks so that parents and carers can be assured that the provision is suitable to remain on the preferred provider list.
