The Ambleside Centre offers a range of support and information for families with children pre birth to five years old. For more inofrmation please take a look at our timetable. 

Ambleside Centre

Sessions include: 

  • Play and Learn drop-in
  • Baby Play drop-in for pre-walkers
  • Health appointments

The Centre also offers a wide variety of courses and workshops as well as one to one family support and advice.  Courses include Family First Aid, Healthy Eating, Conflict Resolution, ESOL, Learning through Play and Baby Massage.

Weekly timetable

Monday:

  • Baby Play drop-in for pre-walking children, 10 to 11am

Tuesday:

  • Play and Learn drop-in for children under 5 years of age, 9:30 to 11am
  • Brestfeeding Network: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 1 to 2:30 pm - appointments only

Friday:

  • Family Support Group, 1:30 to 3pm - invitation only, contact the children's centre for more information

Opening hours of the centre

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm
  • Closed bank holidays
